このたび、「２０２０Ｊリーグシャレン！アウォーズ」を受賞した各クラブの取り組みについて、上智大学Sircleの学生のみなさんから、日本語と英語で活動に対するメッセージが届きましたのでご紹介いたします。

※上智大学Sircleは建学の理念である「隣人性」とシャレンが提唱する地域連携の「輪」を意味するcircleとSをかけ合わせたサークル名称です。Sには5つの意味(S=Sophia,Syaren!,Soccer,SDGs,Social)が込められています。

■大宮アルディージャ

It was a very nice opportunity to know the club's activity. I learned that they went through a difficult time, for example with some critical opinions, and that actually makes them what they are today. And also they make me realize that continuity is the most important thing to success in anything in life. I appreciate that. As they said they want to be known more and more in public, I thought we can also give hands using SNS to share their activity. I look forward to their more success in the future!

今回クラブの新たな応援活動を知ることができて、大変良い機会でした。難しい時期を経て、葛藤を越えてこその今があるのだという事も学びました。また、彼らの活動を通して、何事も成功するために、継続することの大切さに気付くことができました。感謝しています。そして、私たちも、一人でも多くの人にこの取り組みを知ってもらうために、SNS等を用いて活動について発信することができると考えました。何かの形でお手伝い出来たら嬉しいです。これからのご活躍も、楽しみにしています！！

Connecting the dots. What I have learned from this article is that by connecting one small experience or effort to another one, it can lead to a new idea or big success that moves a lot of people’s heart. We tend to only see the surface of those kinds of famous football clubs, but I’ve learned that this wasn’t achieved easily, it is all the efforts, planning, and all the people who were involved, that made this club such an amazing one. I really look forward to their continued success!

I didn't know that the J.LEAGUE is doing this until I read the article posted on the website. Also, until I read this article, I didn't think about the issue of juvenile crime. However, it is not only their own responsibility that we can imagine why the boy got into the crime through this article, and it is not only our responsibility that we are criminals. I also felt that it was the responsibility of the society that created it. What they need is an environment where others can accept and support them, and our cooperation is essential for their reintegration. I think the players at FC Tokyo set an example for us.

Ｊリーグにおいてこのような取り組みが行われていることは、ホームページに掲載されている記事を読むまで知らなかった。また、この記事を読むまでは少年犯罪についての問題に関して考えることはなかった。しかし、この記事を通して、少年がどのような状況によって犯罪に手を染めてしまったのかが想像でき、少年たちが犯罪者になってしまったのは、彼ら自身の責任だけでなく、私たちが作り上げる社会の責任でもあるとも感じた。彼らが必要としているのは、周囲の人が彼らを受け入れ支えることのできる環境であり、彼らが社会復帰するためには私たちの協力が不可欠なのだ。FC東京の選手は、そんな私たちのお手本を示してくれているのだと思う。

This issue of juvenile delinquent would not that easy to be accepted by local community. However, I learned through this article that this issue would never be solved unless local people deeply understand the backgrounds of juvenile delinquents and they try to build social system to receive them as a member of community. In other words, local people should be supporters for them. This activity of FC Tokyo contributed not only to encourage juvenile delinquents to reform themselves but also to draw public attention to this issue. I hope that this idea will be widely spread so that the whole society will be the place where the juvenile delinquent could belong to after their lots of reflections.

青少年の犯罪という課題は世間一般的に受け入れられがたい問題のような気がします。しかしこの記事を通じて、彼らには特別な事情があり、彼らが属するはずである社会が彼らを受け入れる体制を整備していかなければこの問題が解決されることはないということを学びました。このFC東京の活動は単に非行少年の更生に貢献しただけでなく、そのブランド力を用いてこの活動を広く社会に伝えることで、この課題に対する世間の関心を引き寄せることにも貢献しました。今後、もっと多くの人々にこの考えを理解してもらい、彼らが反省を重ねたのちに帰る場を提供することができる社会が全体に広まって欲しいと思います。

■徳島ヴォルティス

I think it took a lot of hard work and effort to make the new initiative successful, but the comments from the people involved conveyed joy and excitement. It is clear how attractive this project was. Also, I was able to strongly feel that society is only possible if people support each other. I hope that the success of this project will be achieved in the other local governments!

新しい取り組みを成功させるためには相当な苦労と努力が必要であったと思いますが、関係者の方々のコメントからは喜びと感動が伝わり、この企画がいかに魅力的なものであるかがよく分かりました。また、人と人が支え合ってこそ社会は成り立っているのだということも、改めて強く感じることができました。この企画の成功を通して、他の自治体にもこうした取り組みが広まっていくことを期待しています！

I was so impressed that they were able to mobilize 1800 people in the end. I believe their huge thoughts and efforts brought to it. I felt their brand new challenge of their health care project, without being afraid to fail, encouraged me a lot!

■ガイナーレ鳥取

I want to know more about Gainare Tottori through their Syaren-activities. Their activities embody the philosophy of J. LEAGUE which is deeply engaged with community. In football club, community activity is essential. Gainare Tottori is not a big club in Japan, yet their activity has great influence. Since they have already grabbed the new values which is needed for continuing growth of the sport culture, I thought we should take attention to this club.

彼らのシャレン活動を通してガイナーレ鳥取をより知りたくなりました。彼らの活動は Ｊリーグの地域的な活動に対する理念を体現しています。サッカークラブにおいて、地域的な活動は必要不可欠です。日本ではガイナーレ鳥取はビッグクラブではありませんが、彼らの活動は大きな影響力を持っています。ガイナーレ鳥取はスポーツ文化を成長させ続けるために必要な新たな価値観をすでに掴み取っているため、私はこのクラブに注目すべきだと思いました。

I was moved by the fact that there are people who make lots of efforts to make their region attractive place for citizens, rather than giving up regional development just because they live in a rural area.
It is surprising for me that many people get involved to offer the place where children can have play time on the natural grass. I really hope the children who grow up in this region will also have the same vision as they did and pass down to next generation. I believe this could be a good solution for rural development.

地方に住んでいることを理由に地域開発を諦めるのではなく、その土地に住む人々にとって地域を魅力的なものにするべく努力を惜しまない人々の姿に感銘を受けました。
また、子供たちに芝生遊びの場所を提供するためにこれほどまで多くの人々が関与しているということを知り、非常に驚きました。この地域で育った子どもたちもいつかこの大人たちと同じビジョンを持ち、事業を次世代へと受け継いでいって欲しいと強く願っています。

■川崎フロンターレ

In the case of Kawasaki Frontale, it is remarkable that so many people were getting involved in this activity, including the club, players, Kawasaki city, companies and supporters of the club. I guess there were lots of difficulties to put their opinions together, but in this case, each actor used their strength and tried their best to contribute to this project. And it is also impressive that many people answered in this interview that they were very pleased to see many children with developmental disabilities and their parents had a big smile. I think it is important that we do this not one-time-only, but should make these kinds of activities sustainable.

川崎フロンターレの取り組みでは、クラブや選手、川崎市、企業やサポーターなど非常に多くの人々が関与している点が特徴的でした。これら全てのアクターの意見を取りまとめることは容易ではなかったと思いますが、取り組みの中では皆さんそれぞれが各自の強みを活かし、プロジェクトに貢献するべく最善を尽くしていました。また、インタビューの中で多くの人が「発達障がいを持つ子どもたちとその両親の笑顔を見られて嬉しかった」と回答していた点も非常に印象的でした。このような活動を一時的なものではなく、持続可能なものにしていくことが重要であると強く思います。

I was very impressed by every thoughts and initiatives of the people interviewed here. I was especially moved by the fact that everyone who are involved are working with unconditional love and that everyone is looking at the same direction to achieve one big dream. I truly believe that their effort brings a great impact to the whole country.

インタビューされているそれぞれの人たちの考え方や実行力に感心しました。特に、関わっているすべての人たちが、無条件の愛を持って、大きな一つの目標に向かって同じ方向を向いて働いていることに感動しました。彼らの努力は日本全体に大きなインパクトをもたらせると信じています。
