Machida Chase Third Straight Win Away to Shanghai Shenhua [Preview: ACL Two Group Stage MD3]

Matchday 3 of the AFC Champions League Two Group Stage will be played on 29 October.

Group leaders Machida travel to China to face Shanghai Shenhua FC after winning their opening two matches. They edged Tampines Rovers FC of Singapore 1-0 last time out before drawing with Kobe in the league over the weekend. With four consecutive clean sheets, Machida have been solid defensively and will be looking for another disciplined performance.

Shanghai Shenhua sit second in the group with one win and one draw and are likely to be Machida's main challengers for top spot. The sides also met in last season's ACL Elite, with Machida winning 2-0. Yuki Soma scored in that match and will be hoping to make another decisive contribution.
